PERENCANAAN DAN PERANCANGAN RESORT DI KAWASAN DANAU PADING BANGKA TENGAH

Pading lake has transformed from a former tin-mining area into an emerging ecotourism destination that still lacks adequate accommodation, creating the need for a Resort that supports tourism while preserving the environment. The design aims to introduce a locally rooted architectural character through an eco-cultural approach that responds to the tropical climate, site conditions, and amenity requirements. Key issues include adapting post-mining land, ensuring thermal comfort, and integrating Bangka Malay cultural identity. The general concept focuses on sustainability, local character, and comfortable spatial organization. The design outcome features a radial massing layout centered on a restaurant that serves as the transition between public and private zones. The architectural concept adapts stilt-house forms, pitched roofs, and local ornaments using wood as the primary material. The structural concept combines timber, concrete, and steel sistems, while efficient utilities support water management, renewable energy use, and overall site safety.
