STUDI EKSPERIMENTAL KONDUKTIVITAS LISTRIK PADA MORTAR DENGAN CAMPURAN SERBUK GRAFIT DAN SERBUK BESI SEBAGAI PENGGANTI AGREGAT HALUS
Concrete or conductive mortar is a construction material that has the ability to conduct electricity. This conductive mortar is usually used in special applications where electrical conductivity is required. Conductive mortar consists of a mixture of various conductive material components, such as graphite, iron ore, carbon fiber and stainless steel fiber in mortar. Conductive mortar can also be used in many civil engineering and construction applications. In addition, the use of electrically conductive mortar is a relatively new construction material technology developed to obtain electrical conductivity. The innovation carried out in this study is to add a mixture of graphite powder and iron powder which are conductive materials that have the characteristics of being able to carry heat and electricity well, therefore graphite powder and iron powder have the power used for additional composition in making electrically conductive mortar. The tendency of compressive strength values in mortar variations of 25% to 100% shows a slight increase. The average compressive strength values at percentages of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% are 6,48 Mpa, 7,28 Mpa, 8,17 Mpa and 9,32 Mpa at the age of 28 days. While the electrical conductivity value of the mortar increases with the increasing mixture of graphite powder and iron powder with a maximum value of 51.63% on the 7th day and 71.35% on the 28th day. This study provides a deeper understanding of the electrical conductivity of mortar with the impact of changes used in the composition of the mortar mixture such as a mixture of graphite powder and iron powder, as well as the uses and functions in infrastructure applications.
