The type of research used in this research is descriptive research. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. qualitative research this type of research is descriptive qualitative, where this research is aimed at describing existing phenomena not based on statistical calculations (numbers) but comes from interview scripts, field notes and documentation. The increasingly competitive challenges and demands of society for excellent service encourage the South Sumatra Province Transportation Department to prepare itself to remain existing and superior so that it always strives for improvements. These changes are arranged in planned stages and consistent so as to increase work stability oriented towards achieving the best results. For this reason, the Transportation Service needs a vision as a way of looking at the future for the South Sumatera Province Transportation Service so that it remains existing, anticipatory and innovative.
