Concrete confined walls are a wall construction system that is confined by columns and beams on all four sides vertically and horizontally. Lap splice is a variation of reinforcement that is carried out by providing a length of reinforcement at the end of the connection. ANSYS is software that aims to solve various engineering problems numerically using the finite element method. The results of the analysis are hysteresis, ductility, stiffness and cumulative energy dissipation curves. Observing differences in the strength performance of normal concrete confined wall structures using lap slice length as a variation. PDT-1 has the largest drift ratio compared to PDT-2 and PDT-3. All three models fall into the medium ductility category. The PDT-3 model is a variation of the PDT-2 which is able to withstand lateral loads but is not stronger than the PDT-1 and PDT-2. The results of this research prove that lap slice affects the strength of concrete confined walls in resisting cyclic loads.
