PENGARUH BONUS DEMOGRAFI, PRODUK DOMESTIK REGIONAL BRUTO, TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP PERMINTAAN TENAGA KERJA DI INDONESIA
This study aims to analyze the influence of the dependency ratio, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on the demand for young labor (ages 15–24) in 15 provinces in Indonesia during the 2018–2022 period. A quantitative approach was employed using panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM). The estimation results show that the dependency ratio has a positive and significant effect on the number of young workers, while GRDP and ICT do not have significant partial effects. Simultaneous testing indicates that the three independent variables collectively have a significant effect on youth labor demand. These findings highlight the important role of demographic factors in shaping youth labor dynamics, while economic and technological factors require more adaptive policy approaches to generate meaningful impacts.
