Ramadan, Kiagus Muhamad - Personal Name;

Background. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a complex systemic autoimmune disease with diverse multisystem manifestations. The prevalence of lupus in Indonesia is estimated at 0.5%. Patient satisfaction with treatment reflects subjective perceptions of therapeutic effectiveness, convenience, and side effects, and is closely related to adherence and long-term treatment continuity. To date, no studies have evaluated treatment satisfaction among SLE patients in Indonesia. Methods. This study utilized a descriptive design. The sample consisted of all SLE patients meeting the inclusion criteria during the study period at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis with SPSS 27. A total of 52 SLE patients were included. Results. The majority of SLE patients were adults, predominantly female (98.1%) with a secondary education (67.3%). Most patients (80.8%) had been undergoing treatment for >12 months and presented with mild disease activity (53.8%). The majority (71.2%) were satisfied with the prescribed medication. The mean TSQM 9 satisfaction score was 68.04%, with a global satisfaction score of 71.1%. Conclusion. The SLE patients in this study were predominantly adult females with secondary education levels. Most had been receiving treatment for ≥12 months and exhibited mild disease activity. The majority were satisfied with their treatment, with TSQM-9 scores showing the highest ratings in the global satisfaction domain, followed by effectiveness and convenience. Keywords: Treatment Satisfaction, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, TSQM-9
