PENGARUH SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP MINAT MENJADI GURU MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI FAKULTAS KEGURUAN DAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA TAHUN AKADEMIK 2020
The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of self-efficacy to interest in being a teacher for students in the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, Academic Year 2020. This research uses a casual associative method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, Academic Year 2020. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and classic assumption tests. Hypothesis testing is carried out using a simple linear regression test consisting of a simple linear regression equation, correlation test, t-test and determination test. In this study, it is known that the level of self-efficacy of students of the FKIP UNSRI Economic Education Study Program for the 2020 Academic Year is categorized as good, while the interest in becoming a teacher is categorized as sufficient. Based on the calculation of the determination test, it shows that self-efficacy has an influence of 61.37% on interest in becoming a teacher. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence between self-efficacy on the interest being a teacher of students in the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, Academic Year 2020. It is hoped that students will have good self-efficacy and self-abilities to be able to become professional teachers. Other researchers can use a population with a wider range, so that it can deepen the influence of self-efficacy on interest in becoming a teacher in different environments.
