PREDIKSI NILAI LAJU EROSI DENGAN METODE USLE DI LAHAN PERKEBUNAN KOPI (Coffea sp.) DI DESA PULAU BERINGIN, KECAMATAN PULAU BERINGIN, KABUPATEN OKU SELATAN
Erosion is an event of soil erosion that occurs on the surface of the earth and is generally caused by water, parts of the soil are eroded and transported, then deposited from one place to another. Factors that influence erosion are rain erosivity, soil erodibility, slope length and slope factors as well as plant management and soil conservation measures. This research aims to determine the value of the erosion rate on coffee plantations in Pulau Beringin Village through erosion prediction using the USLE method (Universal Soil Loss Equation) To analyze erosion predictions, determine sampling points using land map units to obtain 7 SPL and use Arcgis software to create maps and determine the length and slope values of slopes. The results of this research show that the highest erosion rate value, namely 51,618.81 tons/ha/year, is at SPL 6 and the lowest erosion rate value, namely 1,386.41 tons/ha/year, is at SPL 3. The erosion rate value in Pulau Beringin village is influenced due to rainfall and poor land conditions, land management is needed to reduce the intensity of erosion rates that are too high
