PENGARUH EDUKASI MELALUI MEDIA "VIMPU" TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI MENGENAI MENARCHE

Menarche is one of the signs of biological development in adolescent girls. Low knowledge of this process can cause fear, anxiety, and negative perceptions of menstruation. This study aimed to find out the influence of education using Vimpu media on increasing the knowledge of adolescent girls about menarche. The research design used a pre-experiment one group pre-test post-test design with 6l respondents aged 10-12 years selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was in the form of a knowledge questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability. The results showed that most of the respondents were 10 years old (52.5%) and came from grades IV and VI (37.7%). All respondents (100%) had never received education about menarche. There was an increase in the average knowledge score from 11.46 before the intervention to 14.16 afler the intervention. The results of the paired t-test showed that a value of p was 0,000 (p < 0.05), meaning that there was a significant influence of Vimpu education on improving knowledge, In conclusion, the Vimpu media is effcctive as a means of interesting and interactive represetive health education, and involves multisensory visual, audie, and psychomotbr stimulation so as to help the pupils understand the material more easily and increase their knowledge retention.
