STUDI MORFOMETRIK DAN KEBIASAAN MAKAN IKAN SEMBILANG (Plotosus canius) DARI PERAIRAN MUARA SUNGAI MUSI
Gray eeltailed catfish (Plotosus canius) is a fish commodity that has the potential to be cultivated sustainably, because gray eeltailed catfish has economic value and has good meat quality. This study aims to analyze the morphometric, length-weight relationship, and stomach contents of gray eeltailed catfish. This research was conducted in October 2023 located in the Musi River Estuary, South Sumatra. Samples were obtained from collectors around the Musi River Estuary area. The results found that the morphometric gray eeltailed catfish in the waters of the Musi River Estuary are classified as large, with an average length of 32.30 in male gray eeltailed catfish and 33.82 in female Sembilang fish.
