ANALISIS PENGARUH PANDEMI TERHADAP TINGKAT KEUNTUNGAN USAHA BAKSO DI KOTA PALEMBANG

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are productive business units that play an important role in absorbing labor and also play a big role in economic growth in the City of Palembang. The meatball business is one of the MSME commodities most often found in Palembang City, where the meatball business in Palembang City alone has a total of 1,224 business units spread across every sub-district. This research aims to see and analyze how the pandemic can affect the profit levels of meatball businesses in the city of Palembang, and see whether there are differences in profit levels during the pandemic and after the pandemic. This research uses primary data using the Simple Random Sampling sampling technique in collecting data using a questionnaire. The analytical method used is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Using the SPSS 16.0 analysis tool, it was concluded that there was a difference in the profits of the meatball business during the pandemic and after the pandemic, this can be seen from the significance value obtained which was 0.001. where changes in profit levels are caused by changes in conditions and community behavior due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and government policies regarding social restrictions.
