DESKRIPSI PERKEMBANGAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL PESERTA DIDIK PADA KELAS DONGENG DI PAUD SPNF SKB KOTA PALEMBANG
The purpose of this study was to determine the development of emotional intelligence of PAUD SPNF SKB Palembang City students through storytelling class. The method used is a quantitative descriptive research method oriented to PAUD SPNF SKB Palembang City students who aim to see the development of students' emotional intelligence through storytelling classes. The level of indicator criteria on 3 indicators, namely indicators of managing emotions, empathy, and social skills each received a very good score with an average score of 90%. Through observations that contain 3 statements in each indicator to strengthen the questionnaire, good results are in line with the questionnaire results. In the indicator of managing emotions, the statement that gets the biggest score is statement 5 in line with the 3rd observation statement where students seem happy with the presence of friends next to them, in the empathy indicator, the statement that gets the biggest score is statement 5 Where the statement is in line with the results of the observation of statement 3, it can be seen from the students who appear expressive in responding to the storyline of the fairy tale presented by the teacher, and on the social skills indicator the statement that gets the largest score is statement 3 which is in line with the results of the observation of statement 2 where it can be seen from students who are orderly and not nosy to their friends when the fairy tale class learning takes place. Thus it can be interpreted that the development of students' emotional intelligence in the fairy tale class at SPNF SKB Palembang City has been going very well.
