This research aims to find out how to apply modifications to the traditional engklek game in grade 2 elementary school students to improve gross motor skills, implement the development of students' social and cooperative abilities during the process of playing the modified traditional game engklek in grade 2 students at Prabumulih State Elementary School 29 and measure motor development. rude to grade 2 students at SDN 29 Prabumulih after playing the traditional game of engklek. The population in this study were all students at SDN 29 Prabumulih and the sample in this study was 25 students in class 2 A at SDN 29 Prabumulih. The type of research used in this research is PTK (Classroom Action Research). Based on the results of this research, it shows that the application of modifications to the traditional engklek game can improve gross motor development in class 2 students at State Elementary School 29 Prabumulih. In cycle 1 there were 20% of students above average, 64% of students were average, and 16% of students were below average, in cycle 2 there were 28% of students above average, and 72% of students were average, it can be concluded that the traditional engklek game can improve students' gross motor skills.
