EVALUASI KONDISI JALAN TAMBANG DALAM MENUNJANG PRODUKTIVITAS ALAT ANGKUT BATUBARA DI PT BHUMI SRIWIJAYA PERDANA COAL.
PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal is one of the mining companies engaged in the coal industry, located in Beji Mulyo Village, Tungkal jaya district, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera Province. In Januari 2024, the coal production target at PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal was 100.000 tons/month, but the realization only reached 71,314 ton/month. One of the fators causing the non-achievement of production targets is the mismatch of road conditiont with standards, which result in an increase in the cycletime of the conveyance and a decrease in coal productivity. This study aims to evaluatu the condition of the haul road in order to reduce the cycle time of the hauling equipment and increase productivity so that the production target can be achieved. The condition of the haul road at PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal still does not meet the AASHTO theoretical standards, as evidences by the results of field measurements. The straight road width ranges from 9,91 to 23,51 meters, while the bend ranges from 5,20 to 20,53 meters , while AASHTO theory suggest a straigets road width of 12,14 meters and a bend of 14,71 meters, Nevertheless, the slope of the haul road at PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal is quite safe, except for segment A-B, D-E, and O-P which still exceed 8% of the standard slope according to AASHTO. Improvement, the cycle time of the dump truck was 13 minutes, but after the improvement it became 9,11 minutes. The actual productivity of 1 unit dump truck was 25,79 tons/hour, which increased to 36,78 tons/hour after road improvement, and the total production of dump trucks after road improvement reached 101.704 tons/month.
