PENGARUH TRANSAKSI NONTUNAI TERHADAP VELOCITY OF MONEY DI NEGARA ASEAN-4
This research aims to determine the effect of non-cash transactions on the velocity of money in ASEAN-4 countries. The data used in this research is secondary data from 2012-2022 sourced from the World Bank, Bank Indonesia, Bank Negara Malaysia, Authority of Singapore, Bank of Thailand. The analysis technique in this research uses panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) estimation as the selected model. The results of this research show that the debit card variable has a positive relationship and a significant influence on the velocity of money in ASEAN-4 countries, the credit card variable has a positive relationship and a significant influence on the velocity of money in ASEAN-4 countries. Meanwhile, the e-money variable also has a positive relationship and significant influence on the velocity of money in ASEAN-4 countries. The conclusion of this research is that if the debit card, credit card and e-money variables increase, it will also increase the velocity of money in ASEAN-4 countries.
