ANALISIS EDUCATIONAL MISMATCH PADA PEKERJA MONTIR SEPEDA MOTOR DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Activities in the transportation sector certainly cannot be separated from supporting facilities in the form of motorized vehicles. The wholesale and retail trade sector, which includes car and motorbike repairs, is the third largest contributor to the formation of Palembang's GRDP. The increase in the number of motorized vehicles every year is dominated by two-wheeled vehicles. This research covers 27 workshops located in three sub-districts in Palembang City with the aim of analyzing educational mismatch among motorbike mechanic workers. Using binary logistic regression, the results of the analysis show that motorbike mechanic workers in the city of Palembang are more undereducated workers than overeducated workers. The test results prove that the worker's wage variable has a significant effect on educational mismatch, while the working hours and age variables do not have a significant effect on educational mismatch.
