The performance of public health centers’ employees is influenced by leadership, compensation, and work environment. There were 9 out of 42 public health centers in Palembang which could not achieve a 100% value of KBK for three consecutive months. It caused the public health centers to receive less capitation fees than they should have received. The study aimed to analyze the relationship of leadership, compensation, and work environment to the achievement of KBK Puskesmas in Palembang area. The results of univariate analysis showed that in achieving 100% KBK, 50.8% of respondents stated that leadership was supportive, 50% of respondents stated that compensation was satisfactory, and 53.2% of respondents stated that the work environment was supportive in achieving 100% KBK. The results of the bivariate analysis using the chi square test showed that the leadership variable did not have a significant relationship with the achievement of KBK at Palembang Public Health Centers where the p value = 0.073 and 95% CI was below 1. The compensation variable had a significant relationship with the achievement of KBK at Palembang Public Health Centers where the p value=0.020 and PR=1.538. The work environment variable had a significant relationship with the achievement of KBK at Palembang Public Health Centers where the p value = 0.045 and PR = 1.449. Suboptimal compensation and unsupportive work environment contributed to the non-achievement of 100% KBK value at Puskesmas in Palembang. Therefore, Puskesmas management needed to make improvements in compensation, provision of facilities and infrastructure and strengthen social interaction between employees.
