HUBUNGAN AKSES MEDIA MASSA DENGAN PENGETAHUAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA PUTRI DI SMPN 29 PALEMBANG

Knowledge of reproductive health is important for teenagers to know. This is related to efforts to prevent sexual deviation, sexually transmitted diseases and sexual harassment. Knowledge can be increased through access to broad information. Teenagers can get information from various sources, including print media, electronic media and mass media. This research aims to determine the relationship between access to mass media and knowledge of adolescent reproductive health. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 29 Palembang with a population of all young women using a probability sampling technique of 117 young women respondents. This study used the Fisher Exact test with a p value analysis result of 0.00 with α = 0.05, which means there is a relationship between access to mass media and knowledge of adolescent reproductive health. Based on the results of this research, it is explained that teenagers' knowledge about reproductive health can be influenced by sources of information, one of which is information from the mass media.
