ALAT PEMBUAT GULUDAN TIPE BAJAK SINGKAL (RIDGER PLOUGH) GANDA PADA PERBEDAAN LEBAR GULUDAN DAN KEDALAMAN PENGERUKAN TANAH BERTENAGA HAND TRACTOR 8,5 HP
This study aims to determine the performance of a double ridger plough at different widths and depths of soil dredging using an 8.5 hp hand tractor. The study was conducted at the Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Workshop Laboratory, the Soil and Water Engineering Laboratory, and the Research Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, from May to September 2025. The research method used was experimental, and data analysis was descriptive. The experimental scheme consisted of two treatment factors: ridge width and tillage depth, with two treatment levels. The results showed that the highest efficiency was achieved by the L₂D₁ combination at 94%, with an effective field capacity of 0.236 m²/s, working time of 25.67 seconds, and wheel slip of 41.67%. In addition, the efficiency of making ridges based on the width of the ridges produced was in accordance with the settings, while the efficiency based on the depth of soil dredging reached 85%. Based on the suitability between the results obtained by setting the width of the ridge and the depth of soil dredging, this double ridger plough showed efficient performance in making ridges.
