UJI KINERJA ALAT PEMBUAT GULUDAN TIPE TUNGGAL (SINGLE RIDGER PLOUGH) BERDASARKAN KEDALAMAN PENGERUKAN DAN KECEPATAN GERAK HAND TRACTOR
The use of agricultural tools and machines continues to be developed to improve land processing efficiency, including in the creation of soil ridges. Ridger plow is one of the tools and machines that functions to form furrows in the soil to produce ridges. This study aims to test the performance of a single ridger plow on an 8.5 HP hand tractor based on two treatment factors, namely the depth of dredging (10 cm and 20 cm) and the tractor's travel speed (1.5 km/h and 2 km/h). The research method used is an experimental method with data processing using a descriptive method. The results showed that the highest wheel slip occurred in the K1D2 treatment at 59.4%, the highest fuel consumption was found in K2D2 at 8.05 kgf.m/s and 4.87 ml/pass, respectively. The highest effective work capacity was obtained in K2D1 at 0.156 m²/s, while the highest efficiency was shown by K2D1 at 93.08%. The dredging depth and hand tractor movement speed significantly affected the performance of the ridger plow, where the K2D1 treatment combination provided the fastest travel time, lower wheel slip, higher effective work capacity and efficiency compared to other treatment combinations.
