AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN DAN ANTIPROLIFERASI PEPTIDA ALBUMIN IKAN GABUS (CHANNA STRIATA) DENGAN PENAMBAHAN DAUN SALAM (SYZYGIUM POLYANTHUM) DAN KEMANGI (OCIMUM BASILICUM)
Channa striata or commonly called snakehead fish is one of the freshwater fish that is in great demand by the Indonesian people because it has a high protein content. Snakehead fish has a fairly high protein and albumin content. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant and antiproliferation activities of snakehead fish albumin peptides. This research was conducted in a laboratory experiment using the Randomized Group Design (RAK) method, with 4 levels of treatment, P1 (Control), P2 (Salam Leaf Addition), P3 (basil Leaf Addition) P4 (Salam and basil leaf Additions). This research was conducted to determine the antioxidant activity with DPPH methods, and antiproliferation test with MTT assay method on snakehead fish albumin peptide. Antioxidant activity in albumin peptide showed the highest value of 327.08 ± 47.26 mg/L and the most effective addition of salam leaves and basil produced a value of 238.17 ± 38.24 mg/L. The antiproliferation activity of albumin peptides showed the addition of bay leaf produced the highest value of 26,578±1,312 μg/mL and the basil sample produced the lowest value of 22,246±0,912 μg/mL. The addition of salam leaves has the most effective value compared to other additions, namely 26,578 ± 1,312 μg/mL.
