PREFERENSI KARIER MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN MASYARAKAT UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA

This research aims to: find out the Career Prefrences of Students of Community Education Study Program of Sriwijaya University. This research was conducted at the Community Education Study Program of Sriwijaya University. The population in this study were all students of the community education study program at Sriwijaya University, totaling 137 final students. The data collection technique used was quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of this study indicate that the civil servant PNS/PPPK sector is the most popular career choice for students with a percentage of 34.48% followed by social entrepreneurship at 31.03%, NGOs at 20.69%, and tutors/nonformal education instructors at 13.79%. This finding illustrates that students are more likely to choose career paths that offer stability or opportunites for economic independence, while the non-formal education sector has the lowest level of interest due to low perceptions of career stability and financial well-being.
