ANALISIS PENGARUH FAKTOR 4C (CONTEXT, COMMUNACATION, COLLABORATION DAN CONNECTION) TERHADAP MINAT CALON PESERTA DIDIK (PERASAAN SENANG, KETERLIBATAN, KETERTARIKAN, DAN PERHATIAN) PADA MEDIA SOSIAL YAYASAN PONDOK PESANTREN AHLUL QURO RANTAU HARAPAN
The development of social media has encouraged educational institutions to utilize it as a means of attracting prospective students’ interest. Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Ahlul Quro Rantau Harapan has used social media as a promotional medium; however, its effectiveness in increasing prospective students’ interest needs to be empirically analyzed. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of the 4C factors (Context, Communication, Collaboration, and Connection) on prospective students’ interest, which includes feelings of pleasure, engagement, interest, and attention on the social media of Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Ahlul Quro Rantau Harapan. This research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents and analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the assistance of the SmartPLS application. A total of 136 respondents met the criteria to be analyzed. The results of the study indicate that all factors in the 4C model, namely Context, Communication, Collaboration, and Connection, have a positive and significant effect on prospective students’ interest. Furthermore, the results of the effect size (f²) test show that most relationships among variables fall into the category of large contribution, indicating that the 4C factors play a strong role in explaining the variation in prospective students’ interest.
