KANDUNGAN BAHAN KERING, PROTEIN KASAR, DAN SERAT KASAR PADA SILASE RUMPUT RAJA (Pennisetum Purpuphoides) DENGAN AEROBISITAS DAN WAKTU PELAYUAN YANG BERBEDA
This study aimed to determine the aerobicity and wilting of the fermentation process in order to obtain the best nutritional content of the king grass silase (Pennisetum purpureophoides) with the method of vacuum and non-vacuum in the process of fermenting to the content of Dry Material (BK), Rough Protein (SK), and Rough Fiber (SK). The study was conducted in November to December 2023 for the production process of silase in the field of Technology and Industry of Farming and continued in the Laboratory of Nutrition and Food of the Farming Study Program, Department of Industrial Technology and Farming of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya. The design used in this study is a complete random scheme (RAL) 2x4 Factorial pattern where factor A (A1 is non-vacuum and A2 is vacuum) factor B was wilting and 4 replications. The methods used in this study are A1B1 (Control), A2B2 (two-hour vacuum vacuum), A1b3 (four-hours vacuum-free vacuum).
