ANALISIS RISIKO ERGONOMI DENGAN NORDIC BODY MAP (NBM) DAN METODE LOADING ON THE UPPER BODY ASSESSMENT (LUBA) PADA PEKERJA PANDAI BESI DI DESA TANJUNG LAUT KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
Ogan Ilir is one of the districts with the largest iron work industry, one of which is Tanjung Laut Village. Blacksmith workers are at high risk of developing Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). MSDs are conditions that affect the muscles, bones, and joints, which can cause pain, stiffness, and weakness. This risk arises because the nature of blacksmith work is often hard and still manual. The prevalence of MSDs in 2023 will reach 8.5%. This research aims to analyze ergonomic risks in blacksmith workers. This research uses a descriptive observational design with a qualitative method and the Loading On The Upper Body Assessment (LUBA) method. Data collection for this research used interviews and observations as well as determining the sample using purposive sampling techniques. There are unergonomic postures in the form of awkward postures (awkward postures) and there are 8 working postures in blacksmith workers by calculating the LUBA postural load in blacksmith workers in Tanjung Laut village, as many as 3 working postures get a final score of 2 (medium), as many as 3 working postures get a final score of 3 (high), and 2 more work postures get a final score of 4 (very high). MSDs complaints among blacksmith workers in Tanjung Laut village were at the level of moderate complaints with the number of 4 people (44%) and serious complaints with the number of 5 people (56%). It was concluded that blacksmith workers in Tanjung Laut Village were in the dangerous risk category.
