The development and use of information technology is very rapid and plays a very important role in supporting human activities in terms of optimizing time. However, there are still institutions that have not maximized technological advances, one of which is at PT Ricky Kencana Sukses Mandiri in managing the performance of employee leave applications that are still manual such as filling out forms, so there are shortcomings such as loss or damage to the data. The purpose of this research is to design and build a leave application to provide employees with an easy and fast means to apply for leave without having to go through filling out a physical form. The benefit of this research is to make it easier for the company to check employees who apply for leave. This application is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The method of developing this system includes observation, interviews and testing the system. The results of the research are in the form of applications that can make it easier to apply for leave, and provide transparency that has a positive impact on company productivity. Thus, this application is expected to help employees in applying for leave and make it easier for the company to manage employee data more effectively and efficiently.
