KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN PROLAPSUS ORGAN PANGGUL PASCA OPERASI KOLPOKLEISIS DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Background: Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is a gynecological condition in which the pelvic organs descend from their normal anatomical position into the vagina due to weakness caused by decreased strength in the ligaments. This condition can lead to complications that affect daily life, one of which is a reduced quality of life. One of the management approaches for POP is a surgical procedure called colpocleisis, which aims to improve the patient's quality of life. This study aims to determine the quality of life of POP patients after undergoing colpocleisis surgery at Dr. Muhammad Hoesin General Hospital in Palembang. Method: This study used an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study consisted of 15 respondents. This study used primary data and secondary data obtained from interviews using the P-QOL questionnaire guidelines and medical record results. Results: The study results indicate that patients with pelvic organ prolapse after colpocleisis surgery have a good quality of life. The analysis results show that differences in age (p=0.373), body mass index (p=0.207), parity (p=0.551), and degree of prolapse (p=0.372) do not make a significant difference in the quality of life of patients after colpocleisis surgery.
