In the periodfrom July 2022 to February 2023, the media covered coverage ofthe Bripka J murder trial involving high-ranking police officers; including Ferdy Sambo, the former police chiefofPropam. The reading ofthe verdict by the Chief Justice Wahyu [man Santoso highlighted the urgency of this case which was sensationalized and had the potential to influence public opinion. The purpose of this research is to identify and understand the ways in which these two media construct narratives and representations of the event in their reporting. 14 comparative analysis between Detikcom and Tribunnews.com showed different approaches in reporting the case. Detikcom focused on chronological details, while Tribunnews.com emphasized human interest aspects.
