ANALISIS RISIKO KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN PAJANAN KARBON MONOKSIDA (CO) DARI SUMBER KENDARAAN TERHADAP KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT YANG TINGGAL DI PINGGIR JALAN DESA PULAU SEMAMBU

Mubaraq, Makmur - Personal Name;

Carbon monoxide (CO) produced by vehicles increases the risk of exposure in the community of Pulau Semambu Village, especially those who live on the roadside and are exposed continuously. This study aims to analyze the environmental health risk of CO exposure in people living on the roadside of Pulau Semambu Village. This study appliyed the environmental health risk analysis (EHRA) method with a deterministic approach. The purposive sampling method was used to select a sample of 32 respondents. Data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires and interviews with people living on the roadside of Semambu Island village. The measurement of carbon monoxide (CO) concentration was carried out using Carbon Monoxide Meter AS8700A. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis and exposure analysis and risk characteristics. The average carbon monoxide (CO) concentration was 101.83 ppm. Exposure analysis showed the mean value of non-carcinogenic Liquid-adj for respondents in this study was 58.04 ppm. The results of the risk characterization calculation showed an RQ>1 value of 1.65. This indicates a non-carcinogenic health risk, meaning that it is not safe and needs to carry out risk management. The conclusion of this study is that people who live on the roadside of Pulau Semambu Village are at risk of having non-carcinogenic health problems caused by exposure to carbon monoxide (CO).
