Anemia is a condition where the number and size of red blood or hemoglobin levels are below a predetermined upper threshold value. Anemia can cause a decrease in the body's resistance to infection, impaired physical growth and mental development and reduce physical fitness, work capacity and learning performance. The results of the 2013 Indonesian National Health Survey show that the prevalence of anemia in children aged 1-4 years, 5-14 years and 15-24 years is 28.1%, 26.4% and 18.4%, respectively. There was an increase in prevalence compared to the previous survey conducted in 2007, namely 27.7%, 9.4% and 6.9% respectively in children aged 1-4 years, 5-14 years and 15-24 years. In particular, the prevalence of anemia in school-aged children and adolescents has almost tripled. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further research on the effect of consuming blood supplement tablets (TTD) and giving red guava juice on hemoglobin (Hb) levels in young women at SMA N 1 Sanga Village. The data obtained was processed using SPSS and univariate and bivariate analysis was carried out. Comparison of the effect of consuming blood supplement tablets and red guava juice on Hb levels where the group given TTD supplements and red guava juice (p-value: 0.004) was more effective in increasing hemoglobin levels compared to the group given TTD supplements alone (p-value : 0.072).
