STRUKTUR KEPRIBADIAN TOKOH UTAMA PADA NOVEL SERANGKAI KARYA VALERIE PATKAR DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMA (KAJIAN PSIKOANALISIS CARL GUSTAV JUNG)

This study aims to describe the personality structure of the main character in the novel Serangkai by Valerie Patkar in terms of ego, personal unconscious, and collective unconscious using Carl Gustav Jung's personality and describe the implications of the research results for Indonesian language learning in high school. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative research method using Carl Gustav Jung's psychoanalysis approach. The data source of this research is the novel Serangkai by Valerie Patkar and the data is in the form of quotations or dialogue in the novel. The data collection techniques used are library and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is content analysis technique. The results of this study contain a total of 60 data that fulfil Carl Gustav Jung's personality aspects, including ego 18 data, Personal Unconscious 18 data, and Collective Unconscious 24 data. The results of this study can also be applied to Indonesian language learning in the Basic Competencies of Analysing the content and language of novels and Achievement Indicators 3.9.1 Identifying the intrinsic elements and 3.9.2 Identifying the linguistic elements of novels in SMA class XII.
