REALITAS SOSIAL DALAM NOVEL KAMI (BUKAN) SARJANA KERTAS KARYA J.S. KHAIREN: TINJAUAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
This research examines the current social reality of student life contained in the novel We (Not) Bachelor Paper by J.S. Khairen. The aims of this research are:d(1) to describe the objective social reality, (2) to describe the subjective social reality, (3) to have implications for learning Indonesian language and literature. The approach used in this research is a literary sociology approach. The theory used in this research is the theory of social reality according to George Ritzer. This research data is in the form of dialogues and monologues sourced from the novel We (Not) Paper Bachelors by J.S. Khairen. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques. Data collection was carried out through reading and note-taking techniques. The steps in analyzing data are identifying data, classifying data, and interpreting data. The results of this research show that there are 108 data which are divided into 46 data which cover the social reality of objectives, which are translated into several aspects, namely moral aspects totaling 16 data, educational aspects totaling 19 data, cultural aspects totaling 2 data, economic aspects totaling 2 data, social environmental aspects amount to 7 data, and religious aspects amount to 1 data. Furthermore, there are 62 data covered by subjective social reality, which is translated into several aspects, namely moral aspects totaling 4 data, educational aspects totaling 24 data, economic aspects totaling 9 data, and social environmental aspects totaling 25 data. The results of this research can be used in learning Indonesian language and literature at the SMA level (High School) class XII in the 2013 curriculum, namely Basic Competency (KD) 3.8 interpret the author's view of life in the novel read.
