PERANCANGAN ARSITEKTUR MICROSERVICE UUNTUK SISTEM INFORMASI PERUSAHAAN ACADEMY TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PT XYZ

PT XYZ Academy is an information technology education and training institution in Indonesia under PT XYZ Group. It focuses on the growing need for skilled workers in the IT sector through various training and certification programs in areas such as software development, computer networking, information security, and system administration. Even so, PT XYZ Academy's website, which uses a monolithic architecture, often faces problems such as difficulties in developing new features and dependencies between services that cause total downtime during maintenance. To address these issues, this research proposes a shift to a microservices architecture, which allows independent service improvement and development without disrupting the overall system, as well as improving system performance, scalability, and availability. The design utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and the new system is implemented and tested using black box testing, which shows positive results that the system has performed according to its functions. In conclusion, the implementation of microservices architecture will simplify the development and maintenance of the PT XYZ Academy system in the future, improving user experience.
