GAMBARAN RESILIENSI PADA GENERASI SANDWICH YANG SUDAH MENIKAH

Resilience is an individuals ability of survive, adapt, and thrive when facing difficult or challenging situations. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of resilience in the married sandwich generation. In this study, the population consists of married sandwich generation. The participants in this study were 191 married sandwich generation. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. This study uses the resilience scale based on the aspects of resilience by Reivich dan Shatté (2002), which include emotion regulation, impuls control, optimism, causal analysis, emphaty, self efficacy, and reaching out. The resilience scale consists of 28 items with a Cronbach’s alpha (α) coefficient of 0.952. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study show that the majority of married sandwich generation have a low level of resilience with a frequency of 129 individuals or 67.5%. Additionally, the researcher found significant differences in the gender and age based on the Kruskal-Wallis test.
