HUBUNGAN KONDISI LINGKUNGAN DENGAN KEBERADAAN JENTIK NYAMUK AEDES AEGYPTY DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MAKRAYU KOTA PALEMBANG
The presence of Aedes aegypty mosquito larvae is an indicator of the existence of an Aedes aegypty mosquito population. Environmental conditions also greatly influence the incidence of dengue fever which is also related to the presence of mosquito larvae. The aim of the research is to analyze the relationship between environmental conditions and the presence of Aedes aegypty mosquito larvae in the Makrayu Health Center working area. This research is a quantitative study with a crosssectional design approach. The population in this study were all people in the work area of Makrayu Health Center, Ilir Barat II District, Palembang City with a total sample of 136 respondents the sampling technique is purposive sampling by considering inclusion and exclusion criteria in accordance with the research objectives. Data were analyzed using Chi-square and Fisher's Exact tests. Based on the calculation results, the level of density of Aedes aegypty mosquito larvae in the Makrayu health center working area is in the medium category. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between container material (p-value 0.001), container color (p-value 0.005), lighting (p-value 0.000), and air temperature (p-value 0.000) with the presence of Aedes aegypty mosquito larvae. For variables that have no relationship, namely the implementation of PSN (p-value 1.000), and the presence or absence of landfill closures (p-value 0.110) with the presence of Aedes aegypty mosquito larvae. The conclusion of this research is the strategic and technical implementation of 3M PSN as the main method for controlling Aedes aegypty mosquito larvae. Mosquito larvae prefer landfill materials made from cement and soil. Apart from that, mosquito larvae also prefer landfill materials that are mossy and dark in color.
