PERSPEKTIF MANAJEMEN RANTAI PASOK YANG RAMAH LINGKUNGAN OLEH KONTRAKTOR DI KOTA PALEMBANG

Nasution, Ade Putri Rahayu - Personal Name;

Climate change and environmental pollution have become the biggest concerns for the industrial sector and the government, prompting the need for environmental impact assessments due to activities in all industrial sectors, including the construction sector. The construction sector's activities exacerbate environmental issues such as excessive energy use, resource consumption, environmental pollution, and global warming. Green supply chain management is an evolution of supply chain management and traditional management that incorporates environmental thinking into all supply chain activities. This concept was adopted due to the failure of supply chain management and traditional management concepts in achieving sustainability goals in the construction sector, as they have not provided practical and significant impacts in their application to the broader environment. This research was conducted to evaluate the perspectives of contractors in the city of Palembang regarding the practices, determining factors, and challenges of green supply chain management. This research uses a quantitative method with data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to contractors in the city of Palembang based on data from GAPENSI South Sumatra. The analysis and data processing were conducted using Microsoft Excel and SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that the majority of contractors provide support and a positive response to environmentally friendly supply chain management.
