APLIKASI PERBEDAAN DOSIS PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR PADA PEMELIHARAAN IKAN PATIN (Pangasius sp.) DENGAN SISTEM AKUAPONIK MODEL RAKIT TERAPUNG
The floating raft model aquaponic system principally places plants on the surface of the water using media including styrofoam. Fertilization is an effort to improve water quality to increase the production of fish and cultivated plants. This study aims to determine the best dose of liquid organic fertilizer on water quality in the culture of catfish with lettuce plants using an aquaponics system of floating raft models. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of three treatments and three replications with doses namely without liquid fertilization (P0), 1 µl L-1 day-1 (P1) and 3 µl L-1 day-1 (P2). Catfish with initial length of 5 ± 0.5 cm were stocked in ponds with a stocking density of 100 fish m-2 and reared for 42 days. The variables observed during the study included water quality (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphorus, potassium, pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen), total weight (yield) of lettuce plants, absolute growth (length and weight) and survival. The results showed liquid organic fertilizer at a dose of 1µL L-1 day-1 (P1) was the best dose by water quality values during culture including ammonia 0.05-0.10 mg L-1, nitrite
