IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH DOMESTIK DI PT. SEMEN BATURAJA PALEMBANG

This study analyzes the implementation of domestic wastewater management policies at PT. Semen Baturaja Palembang based on the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. 68 of 2016 concerning Domestic Wastewater Quality Standards. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Merilee S. Grindle’s policy implementation model, which includes two main variables: content of the policy and implementation context. The findings indicate that the company has implemented domestic wastewater treatment through the provision of wastewater treatment installations (IPAL), employee training, and internal as well as external monitoring. However, challenges remain, such as limited inter-unit coordination and lack of community participation. In general, the policy implementation aligns with regulatory standards, but greater transparency toward the surrounding community is needed to prevent environmental impacts. This study highlights the importance of the company’s commitment to sustainable environmental management. Keywords: Policy Implementation, Domestic Waste, PT.
