PEMETAAN POTENSI TANAH LONGSOR BERBASIS SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (SIG) DI KECAMATAN TANJUNG SAKTI, KABUPATEN LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN
Research has been carried out to map landslide potential in Tanjung Sakti District, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Factors analyzed include geology, soil type, land cover, rainfall, and slope gradient. Rainfall data varies between 2400-2900 mm/year and slope gradients range from 8%-45%. The area's lithology is dominated by volcanic and sedimentary rocks, while land use is dominated by agriculture and plantations. The dominant soil type is cambisol. Mapping results indicate that 44.05% of the area has low landslide potential, 42.37% has medium potential, and 13.58% has high potential. This study recommends using other methods with a scoring and overlay approach using ArcGis and adding parameters such as elevation and drainage patterns to improve the accuracy of landslide potential mapping.
