ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN TUTUPAN VEGETASI LAHAN GAMBUT HASIL DARI METODE TERAWASI, TAK TERAWASI DAN NDVI MENGGUNAKAN DATA CITRA LANDSAT 8 (STUDI KASUS : KHG SUNGAI SUGIHAN-SUNGAI SALEH )
Sungai Sugihan-Sungai Saleh Peat Hydrological Unit is one of the largest peatland areas in Sumatra that is prioritized as a protected area, but the formation of peatland is relatively old and there are activities in clearing land so that land cover changes occur. This research was conducted by comparing the results of land cover from the supervised, unsupervised and NDVI methods to get a more accurate level of accuracy in KHG Sungai Sugihan-Sungai Saleh. The data used is the 2019 Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS image. Each method provides different results of land cover area due to differences in the classification approach. In the NDVI and supervised methods, the resulting area of 76,416.3 Ha and 53,984.6 Ha is the largest land cover class in the plantation area while the unsupervised method obtained an area of 57,506.5 Ha is the largest land cover class in shrubs. The overall accuracy of the three methods is 90% for the supervised method, 86% for the unsupervised method and 82% for the NDVI method. Based on this, it is concluded that the suitable land cover classification method in the Sungai Sugihan-Sungai Saleh KHG area is the supervised method.
