An Arduino Nano-based heart rate measuring device has been designed to measure heart rate on a human wrist which is connected to a pulse heart rate sensor as a heart rate detector in BPM. The design of a heart rate measuring instrument begins with designing the electronic components and then programming using the Arduino IDE. Data collection in resting conditions and after physical activity, and ending with data analysis to test the accuracy and precision of the designed measuring instrument. The tool designed is capable of measuring heart rate with fairly high accuracy with a measurement error value of 0.6% and a precision level of 94.64%. There are still external factors in measuring heart rate on an object, such as the condition of the object and hereditary factors that influence the measurement value.
