PERENCANAAN TEKNIS REKLAMASI TAHUN 2025 DI LAHAN BEKAS TAMBANG BATUBARA PIT LAWAI PT BUMI GEMA GEMPITA, KABUPATEN LAHAT, PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

Coal mining activities may cause significant landform changes and environmental degradation; therefore, a well-planned reclamation program in accordance with prevailing regulations is required. This study aims to develop a technical reclamation plan for the year 2025 at the former coal mining area of Pit Lawai, PT Bumi Gema Gempita, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research methods include literature review, field data collection, and technical data analysis. The reclamation planning covers land regrading, topsoil spreading, drainage system design, acid mine drainage management, and revegetation activities. The results indicate the planned reclamation area for 2025, the required volume of topsoil, the type and number of mechanical equipment, drainage channel dimensions based on design rainfall, and the amount of lime needed for acid mine drainage treatment. In addition, suitable plant species, planting patterns, and revegetation maintenance requirements were determined. This technical reclamation plan is expected to serve as a reference for the company in implementing effective and sustainable reclamation practices that comply with applicable reclamation success criteria and regulations.
