ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS DALAM TRAGEDI KANJURUHAN DI MEDIA CONSUMER NEWS AND BUSINESS CHANNEL (CNBCINDONESIA.COM)

Critical Discourse Analysis is one of the sciences used to analyze discourse in the form of text and oral. However, in this analysis, it does not only examine the text but also the context in it. This research aims to explore the form of news discourse on the Kanjuruhan Tragedy, the form of social cognition, and the social context in the news produced by cnbcindonesia.com. This study uses a qualitative content analysis method supported by the critical discourse analysis of the Van Dijk model to understand the meaning and information in depth from the news about the Kanjuruhan Tragedy by cncbcindonesia.com media. This data collection technique uses documentation and text study. The results of the study show that the 5 news of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy contained in cnbcindonesia.com meet the level of critical discourse analysis of the Van Dijk model, namely text analysis (macrostructure, superstructure, microstructure), social cognition, and social context, which shows various problems, namely the use of tear gas, the impact of tear gas, to the parties responsible for the Kanjuruhan tragedy in Malang.
