LAJU PERTUMBUHAN BUDIDAYA RUMPUT LAUT ANGGUR (CAULERPA LENTILLIFERA) PADA BAK TERKONTROL DENGAN BERAT BIBIT AWAL YANG BERBEDA
Caulerpa lentillifera is a promising type of seaweed to cultivate, but seaweed cultivation has problems such as lack of cultivated land, decreased productivity and quality of cultivation and seasonal influences. Cultivation using controlled tubs with different starting weights is expected to be an innovation to answer all seaweed cultivation problems. This activity aims to analyze the growth rate of grape seaweed (Caulerpa lentillifera) cultivation weight in controlled tubs with different initial weights. This research was carried out in March-April 2024 at the Sanggar Caulerpa DD Amanah Nurani, Karawang Regency, West Java. The design used a complete randomized design (RAL) with three treatments and three replicates, namely treatment A (50 g), B (100 g), and C (150 g). Based on the results of the research on the temperature parameter range (28.5 ºC - 31 ºC), salinity (30 ppt - 33 ppt) and acidity degree (8.20 - 8.74). The daily weight growth rate (SGR) value resulted in treatment A (4.03%), treatment B (4.39%) and treatment C (4.33%). The results of the absolute weight growth rate of treatment A (73.33 grams), treatment B (233.33 grams) and treatment C (118.33 grams). The ANOVA test resulted in a noticeable difference in the final weight test and weight growth on the 20th day. The growth rate of the three treatments is classified as good because the SGR value is above 3%, This is due to the water parameter factor that is still within the optimal limit.
