IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN NORMALISASI SUNGAI PADA ANAK SUNGAI BENDUNG DI KOTA PALEMBANG
In an effort to overcome flooding and waste management in tributaries, this study aims to look at the implementation of river normalization policies in Palembang City's Bendung Tributary. Data was obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews using a descriptive qualitative approach. Three main aspects were discussed using Ripley and Franklin's implementation theory: level of compliance, smooth functioning routines, and the realization of policy performance and impact. The results showed that poor coordination, lack of resources, and low community participation led to poor policy implementation. This research encourages thorough socialization, better collaboration, improved drainage systems, and more intensive monitoring of the riverbank environment.
