HUBUNGAN PERBEDAAN USIA TERHADAP TINGKAH LAKU PENYU HIJAU (Chelonia mydas) DI UPTD KONSERVASI PENGAWASAN SUMBERDAYA KELAUTAN DAN PERIKANAN (KPSDKP) PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT
Green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) are a protected and endangered species. Breeding is an important conservation strategy to increase the survival rate of green sea turtles. This study aims to evaluate behavioral variations in green sea turtles based on age differences and their relationship with environmental parameters at the UPTD Conservation and Monitoring of Marine and Fisheries Resources (KPSDKP) in West Sumatra Province. The method used was focal animal sampling with a 15-minute interval over five days of observation at each age stage. The behaviors observed included feeding, swimming, and resting/sleeping. Environmental parameters such as temperature, salinity, pH, and noise levels were also measured. The environmental parameter measurements indicated a relationship between noise levels and Green Sea Turtle behavior, which may influence behavior as a response to environmental stress. The results of the Post Hoc Test One Way ANOVA analysis showed that age affects the frequency and duration (p
