STRATEGI ADAPTASI PENGUSAHA THRIFTING DI KOTA JAMBI DALAM MENGHADAPI LARANGAN IMPOR PAKAIAN BEKAS
This study examines the adaptation strategies implemented by thrift entrepreneurs in Jambi City in response to the ban on imported second-hand clothing. This ban has triggered significant changes in the local market, forcing entrepreneurs to seek innovative ways to maintain and enhance their competitive advantage. The study identifies various strategies including anticipating market changes, adjusting to new regulations, and leveraging technological advancements. The results show that thrift entrepreneurs are able to survive and even thrive by adopting strategies such as product diversification, improving customer service, and utilizing digital platforms for marketing and sales. Additionally, they enhance their business skills through training and collaboration with local communities. These strategies not only help them endure changing conditions but also provide opportunities for growth and innovation amid stringent regulatory challenges.
