DETEKSI AROMA KOPI BERBASIS IoT MENGGUNAKAN SENSOR GAS ( MQ3, MQ4, MQ5, DAN MQ135 ) DAN DHT-11
This paper presents a coffee aroma detection system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using gas sensors (MQ-3, MQ-4, MQ-5, MQ-135) and a DHT-11 humidity sensor. Data collection was conducted at the Robotics, Control, and Embedded Systems Laboratory, Faculty of Computer Science, Sriwijaya University, involving coffee aroma, temperature, and humidity readings. The gas sensors provided readings that correlated with volatile compounds associated with coffee aroma, while the DHT-11 sensor provided temperature and humidity information. The use of IoT enabled real-time data monitoring. However, further optimization is required to ensure IoT security and connectivity. The conclusion shows that the device is capable of detecting changes in coffee aroma, but sensor variability requires further attention. Recommendations include the development of gas sensors, optimization of IoT connectivity, sensor calibration, and the development of better user applications. This study contributes to the development of coffee aroma detection using a sensory approach and modern technology.
