EFEKTIVITAS KONVENSI (ILO: INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANIZATION) NO.182 DALAM MENGURANGI PERKERJA ANAK BANGLADESH TAHUN 2022

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No. 182 in reducing child labor in the Bangladeshi garment industry in 2022. The issue of child labor remains a serious challenge in Bangladesh. This study aims to determine the extent to which the implementation of ILO Convention No. 182, strengthened hy the ratification of ILO Convention No. 138 (Minimum Age) in March 2022, has contributed to the reduction of child labor. Using a qualitative approach with case studies, conducted through the analysis of the Output, Outcome, and Impact effectiveness framework by Frank Biermann, and supported by primary data from the National Child Labor Survey (NCLS) 2022 Bangladesh, US Department of Labor (DOL) reports, and other relevant sources.
