This research regarding the development of Photo Story media based on the Instagram application aims to (1) obtain the results of an analysis of the needs for Photostory media based on the Instagram application on the material of writing procedural texts according to teachers and students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Liwa, (2) designing Photostory media based on the Instagram application on the material. writing procedural texts for class The research and development method used in this research is a development method by combining expert opinions, namely Borg & Gall (in Sugiyono, 2019) with Alessi & Trollip (2001). Data collection techniques in this research were interviews, questionnaires and expert validation sheets. The data analysis technique used in this research is interviews as well as analysis of questionnaire data and expert validation data using a Likert scale. Validation was carried out by three expert validators who assessed aspects of the suitability of the material, media and language. The results obtained based on this validation were that the feasibility aspect of this material was declared very valid with a score percentage of (92.5%). The media feasibility aspect was declared very valid with a score percentage of (92%). The language feasibility aspect was declared valid with a score percentage of (77.4%). Based on the validation results, it can be concluded that the development of Photostory learning media based on the Instagram application on the material for writing procedural texts in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Liwa is categorized as very valid based on the validation results.
